Port of Townsville is a seaport in Townsville, Queensland It is the biggest port in Northern Australia after Port of Darwin in Darwin, Northern Territory. Port of Townsville handles numerous imports and exports mainly, Mineral Ores, Fertiliser, Concentrates and Motor Vehicles above all. It also handles visiting US Navy and RAN ships usually picking up soldiers or RnR in Townsville. The port is also able to handle 4 Panamax vessels at any consecutive time.
