David George Reichert, King County Sheriff, is an American politician who will begin serving in the United States House of Representatives in the Eighth Congressional District of Washington state. Reichert, a Republican, defeated KIRO-AM talk show host Dave Ross in the 2004 Congressional elections, receiving 51% of the vote. He is replacing Republican Jennifer Dunn, who is retiring.
