Beauregard "Bo" Buchanan is a fictional character on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live. The role was originated in 1979 by Robert S. Woods.

Residing at an apartment on 459 Wakashin Street in the fictional Philadelphia suburb of Llanview, Vietnam War-veteran Bo (Woods himself being a veteran of the war) arrived in 1979, following his brother Clint from their native Texas, as Clint got a job a Llanview's flagship newspaper, The Banner, replacing Victoria Lord's then ailing husband, Joe Riley.

Throughout the years, Bo has pursued many occupations, including a music record executive, and a movie and television producer. In the early 1990s, Bo became a police officer and met Nora Hanen, who was the attorney for Todd Manning during the infamous and Daytime Emmy Award-winning Marty Saybrooke rape trial. They were engaged and married, becoming one of One Life to Live's most successful pairings, as they became one of the leading supercouples in ABC daytime.

Bo and Nora later divorced when it was revealed that Nora's son, Matthew, was not fathered by Sam Rappaport, but by Bo.

Buchanan currently serves as police commissioner for the Llanview Police Department. His character plays a pivotal role in a romantic comedy set for release in July 2006.

On May 1st, 2006, Bo broke up with his girlfriend, Paige Miller. It remains to be seen if he will find a new partner.
