Nandamuri Balakrishna (Telugu:నందమూరి బాలకృషణ), often known as Balakrishna, is an actor in the Telugu film industry.Balakrishna is well known for doing various roles ranging from Mythology to action and faction dramas.

Career
At the age of 14 Balakrishna entered the Telugu film industry through the film Tatammakala.Even though he entered the film industry because of his father(Late Sri Nandamuri Taraka RamaRao), later his hard work, discipline, talent and dedication made him stand in the industry.In the year 1984, he acted in 3 blockbusters, Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Kathanayakudu and his home production Sri Madvirat Potuluri Virabrahmendra Swamy Charitra.In "Mangamma Gari Manavadu" he played the role of a village youth and is one of the biggest hits of Telugu film industry. Balakrishna is famous for his roles in the movies made with village backdrop.In the year 1986, he had delivered 6 hits in a row. In 1991 he acted in a science fiction movie called Aditya369,in which he played the role of SriKrishnadevaraya, he acted in such a way that every one will think of him whenever they think about SriKrishnadevaraya.He is the only hero, in the Telugu film industry, who is best suitable for playing the mythological and folklore roles in movies, for which his legendary father was famous. In the year 1992 his film Rowdy Inspector made a record in collections. Later he gave some biggest hits like Samarasimhareddy and Narasimhanaidu which are trend setters and block busters of the industry. Till now he acted in about 87 films.
