By searching for 楊輝三角 or 賈憲三角 in Google, one can find many mentions that Yang Hui annotated about the triangle in his writings 《詳解九章算法》that 賈憲 in Northern Song Dynasty used this method in《黃帝九章算法細草》couple centuries before him.
