An Austin, Texas emo band. Released two albums, The Power Of Failing(1995) and End Serenading(1998) before breaking up. Although similar to pioneers Sunny Day Real Estate, in that they both shared a love for and in fact defined the pop-ier conventions in the emo music style, Mineral definitely stands by itself as an important band in the development of the modern-day emo music from the more hardcore-sounding emo.

Members of this band went on the form Pop Unknown, Imbroco and a slightly more successful project, the band The Gloria Record.
