A CR2 battery is a dry-cell type battery commonly used in cameras. The electrical output of this type of lithium battery is 3 volts and approximately 750mAh. The battery weighs roughly 0.64 oz. and measures 27 mm in length with a diameter of 15.6 mm. It offers high capacity for a long battery life and high drain capability for rapid flash re-cycle times. The CR2 battery also has a shelf-life of up to 10 years.
