Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger
"Where there is life, there is a roar of justice! Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger!"

The Gaorangers were chosen by Tetomu and the Power Animals to protect the Earth from the polluting forces of Ogre Tribe Org. Throughout the series, the Gaorangers refer to each other by their designated color rather than name. It's not until the final episode where they finally fully introduce themselves. This carried over to Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger vs. Gaoranger where the Gaorangers refer to each other by their true names.

Gaorangers

Red

File:1-kakeru shishi.jpg
Noboru Kaneko as Kakeru Shishi

Kakeru Shishi, "Blazing Lion" (獅子走, 灼熱の獅子 Shishi Kakeru, "Shakunetsu no Shishi") / GaoRed (ガオレッド Gaoreddo): 24 year old veterinarian. He was chosen by GaoLion to be the leader and he was the fifth member to join. He wants to protect all life on earth and he loves animals, especially his Golden Retriever "Choco". When he closes his eyes, Kakeru has the empathic ability to understand animals and communicate with them. He thought he could do the same with Orgs, but discovered he couldn't since they were without souls. Two of his common sayings are "I am a veterinarian" and "I'm full of motivation!" He is in charge of forming the upper body in the Gaorangers' mecha formations. After the final battle, he returned to his former job at the Cherry Blossoms Animal Hospital.

  • Gao Weapons:
    • Lion Fang (ライオンファング Raion Fangu), GaoRed's claw based weapon. It can be separated into two parts and it can also transform into the Gao Mane Buster.
      • Special Attack: Blazing Fire
        • Gao Mane Buster (ガオメインバスター Gao Mein Basutā), A gun that is used by GaoRed. Received in Episode 3 when GaoRed refused to give up when the Gaorangers were losing to Camera Org. It has two modes: Normal Mode, which rapidly fires laser blasts like a machine gun, and Final Mode, which fires a powerful energy blast from a barrel that extends from the mouth.
    • Falcon Summoner (ファルコンサモナー Farukon Samonā), A bow weapon that is used by GaoRed, that was received in Episode 31. After Highness Duke Ura killed all the Gaorangers except for Red and Silver, the others were able to complete a puzzle that allowed this weapon to emerge in GaoRed's hands. It has three modes, Gun Mode is where the bow ends are closed and it is able to fire rapid blasts, and Arrow Mode is where the ends are opened and a falcon shaped arrow can be shot. The final mode, Summoner Mode, can summon GaoFalcon by connecting Red's Beast King Sword (which is equipped with the GaoFalcon jewel) to the Falcon Summoner when it is in arrow mode. Once in Episode 35 the Gao Jewels for the other Power Animals that form GaoIcarus where placed into the empty slots in the Falcon Summoner. This was done so the Gaorangers could be able to form GaoIcarus, after Blacksmith Org forged the other main Gaoranger's Beast King Swords into different objects.

Yellow

Kei Horie as Gaku Washio

Gaku Washio, "Noble Eagle" (鷲尾岳, 孤高の荒鷲 Washio Gaku, "Kokō no Arawashi") / GaoYellow (ガオイエロー Gaoierō): 23 year old former Self Defense Force pilot. He was the first Gaoranger to be chosen and worked a year alone with only Tetomu. Tetomu recruited him during a flight mission, and he became missing in action. Because of this, he bleached his hair to become less recognizable. As a pilot, he is good at skydiving and English and his hobby is playing the ukulele. At first, Gaku was very humorless, he was upset that Kakeru has been chosen as leader instead of him. As time went on, Gaku opened up, and became especially close to Kakeru, often teasing him good naturedly. Gaku is the one who insisted that the Gaorangers refer to each other by color and not use their personal names. Being his Power Animal a bird, Gaku refuses to eat bird meat (he seems to be the only one to have this tendency; neither Soutarou nor Kai have shown any problem eating cow meat and fish, respectively). He is in charge of forming any leftover parts for the Gaorangers' mecha formations. After the final battle, he returned to the Air Force and his natural hair color.

  • Gao Weapons:
    • Eagle Sword (イーグルソード Īguru Sōdo), A sword that is used by GaoYellow.
      • Special Attacks: Noble Slash, Noble Chopper (With Shark Cutters)
    • Feather Cutters (フェザーカッター Fezā Kattā), Feather themed dirks that are contained in the hilt of the Eagle Sword.

Kai Samezu, "Surging Shark" (鮫津海, 怒涛の鮫 Samezu Kai, "Dotō no Same") / GaoBlue (ガオブルー Gaoburū): 19 year old freeter, whose previous jobs included pizza delivery and working as a clerk in a bowling alley. He was chosen as a Gaoranger around the same time as Sae. He is a very energetic and playful guy, but he hates being treated as a child. He is skilled at bowling and studied under a professional bowler, Don Katayama. His motto is "Never give up!" which he frequently uses to encourage Soutarou. He is in charge of forming the right arm for the Gaorangers' mecha formations. After the final battle, he became a clerk in a surf shop. He also seems interested in Sae.

  • Gao Weapon: Shark Cutters (シャークカッター Shāku Kattā), A pair of tonfas that are wielded by GaoBlue.
  • Special Attacks: Surging Chopper, Iron Twister (With GaoBlack), Giraffe Typhoon, Giraffe Cutter, Surging Thrust, Surging Slash (With Eagle Sword)

Kazuyoshi Sakai as Soutarou Ushigome

Soutarou Ushigome, "Iron Bison" (牛込草太郎, 鋼の猛牛 Ushigome Sōtarō, "Hagane no Mōgyū") / GaoBlack (ガオブラック GaoBurakku): 22 year old retired sumo wrestler. He was chosen as a Gaoranger about a month before Kakeru. He aspired to become a grand champion sumo wrestler, but a knee injury forced him to retire from his wrestling career. Afterwards, he worked as an assistant at Flower Garden Casablanca with his crush, Shi-chan. Though he is the strongest out of the Gaorangers, he is a very gentle soul with a fear of heights and a weakness for women. He is in charge of forming the lower body for the Gaorangers' mecha formations. After the final battle, he and Shi-chan worked together on a ranch.

  • Gao Weapon: Bison Axe (バイソンアックス Baison Akkusu), An axe that is used by GaoBlack.
  • Special Attacks: Iron Broken, Iron Twister (With GaoBlue)

Sae Taiga, "Belle Tiger" (大河冴, 麗しの白虎 Taiga Sae, "Urawashi no Byakko") / GaoWhite (ガオホワイト Gaohowaito): 17 year old martial arts student. She was chosen as a Gaoranger around the same time as Kai. She is incredibly level-headed. Her father runs a dojo in Kagoshima and taught her various combat techniques. Against his will, she moved to Tokyo and enrolled in a special martial arts institution to further improve her skills. She worries about the rest of the team, though she is sometimes belittled by them since she is the only female on the team. She yearns for a prince that rides on a white horse and carries a bouquet of roses. Unlike most Super Sentai heroines, she had never changed her clothing in the blink of an eye until she met up with Miku Imamura/MegaPink. She is in charge of forming the left arm for the Gaorangers' mecha formations. After the final battle, she continued her martial arts training.

  • Gao Weapon: Tiger Baton (タイガーバトン Taigā Baton), A baton that is used by GaoWhite.
  • Special Attacks: Belle Crisis, White Tiger Cross Cut

Silver

Shirogane, "Sparking Silver Wolf" (シロガネ, 閃烈の銀狼 "Senretsu no Ginrō") / GaoSilver (ガオシルバー Gaoshirubā): 1,062 year old Gao Warrior from the Heian period. 1,000 years ago, GaoGod was defeated by Hyakkimaru, a fusion of the Highness Dukes. In desperation, Shirogane took the Dark Wolf Mask, which would give him the extra power they'd need to defeat the Org. Despite the warnings of the priestess, Murasaki, that the mask would possess him, he donned it. The evil energy contained within the mask gave him the ability to combine his three Power Animals into GaoHunter. He lasted long enough to defeat Hyakkimaru, then the mask transformed him into Loki. He begged the other Gao Warriors to stop him while he still had a vestige of control, so they sealed him within a tomb. Centuries later, he was released from his seal by Ura to fight against the present day Gaorangers. Once the mask was destroyed and the evil energy was released, he was returned to his human form. By fighting with all of his strength to save the Gaorangers from Chimera Org, his Power Animals rewarded him with the G-Brace Phone that would allow him to transform into GaoSilver. Afterwards, he spent most of his time trying to make up for his past sins against the Gaorangers. He was very distant towards the Gaorangers and declined Kakeru's invitation to move into Gao's Rock with the others. Instead, he stayed in the pool hall, Billiyard Jack. He was reluctant to accept help from the other Gaorangers during his battle with Loki, but he opened up once GaoWolf led the others to him and he realized that the others trusted him despite the things he did while he was Loki. While relaxing, he enjoys playing billiards and the flute, and he also has the ability to detect Org disturbances from the winds. He also adopted a modern name for himself, Tsukumaro Oogami (大神月麿 Ōgami Tsukumaro). After the final battle, he traveled across the nation. He was the only Gaoranger who was not present in Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai as the movie was set before he was introduced.

  • Gao Weapon: Gao Hustler Rod (ガオハスラーロッド Gao Hasurā Roddo), GaoSilver's weapon that has three modes. The first is Saber Mode, and the second is Sniper Mode that is used as a rifle. The third mode is Break Mode, a pool rod weapon. This mode is used for Silver's finisher attack Evil-Crushing Sacred Beast Orbs (破邪聖獣球 Hajaseijūkyū), where he generates a pool table, called Laser Pool, and Silver shoots his three Gao Jewels like pool balls to finish off an Org. The finishing call is Evil honorably defeated (邪鬼玉砕 Jāku Gyokusai). The Laser Pool can also be used for GaoSilver to summon his Power Animals.
  • Special Attacks: Silver Wolf Full Moon Cut (Saber Mode), Laser Pool (Break Mode)

Power Animals

Each of the Gaorangers possess a totem Power Animal (パワーアニマル, Pawā Animaru) to whom their powers are based, as well as others that are acquired throughout the series. They are fully sentient physical manifestations of the planet's life energy and look metallic in their appearance due to the absorption of metals during their creation from the elements of the Earth. Each Power Animal possesses a Gao Jewel that it entrusts to the Gaoranger that it is bounded with. Most of the Power Animals acquired by the Gaorangers reside on the Sky Island Animarium (天空島 アニマリウム Tenkūjima Animariumu).

Although there are numerous Power Animal combinations, what is listed here in this section are the combinations that appeared in the show, the movies, and a few other sources. A list of all 100 Power Animals and design sketches for combinations which didn't appear in the show was included as part of an art book showing renderings of all Super Sentai mecha up through Hurricanger. All 100 Power Animals appear in the last episode, but all of those that weren't seen before appear only as colorful spheres.

GaoKing

The Wild Force Megazord.
The Wild Force Megazord.

GaoKing Sword & Shield (ガオキングソード&シールド Gao Kingu Sōdo & Shīrudo): Combination of GaoKing and GaoElephant. Its finishing move is Evil Crusher.

  • GaoKing (ガオキング Gao Kingu): Combination of the five main Gaoranger's totem Power Animals. Its finishing attack is called Animal Heart which is an energy blast fired from the mouths of the component Power Animals. It is upgraded to Super Animal Heart when they acquire the Soul Bird.
    • GaoLion (ガオライオン Gao Raion): GaoRed's totem Power Animal. Becomes GaoKing's upper torso or GaoKentaurus’ lower torso and feet.
    • GaoEagle (ガオイーグル Gao Īguru): GaoYellow's totem Power Animal. It can transform into GaoKing's head or become a waist for the GaoMuscle/GaoKnight formations. It is able to fire Feather Bombs from its wings when not in formation.
    • GaoShark (ガオシャーク Gao Shāku): GaoBlue's totem Power Animal. Becomes a right arm part. Its formation special attack is Shark Shot and its dorsal fin is used as a small knife-like weapon called the Fin Blade. The Fin Blade can also be used for a finisher attack called Surging Arrow by throwing the Fin Blade like an arrow.
    • GaoBison (ガオバイソン Gao Baison): GaoBlack's totem Power Animal. Becomes GaoKing's, GaoMuscle's, and GaoKnight's lower torso and feet. Can attach to other formations, adding "Another Foot" to its name. Its formation special attack is called Bison Kick.
    • GaoTiger (ガオタイガー Gao Taigā): GaoWhite's totem Power Animal. Becomes a left arm part. Its formation special attack is called Tiger Attack, a punch attack that is usually used alongside GaoShark's Shark Shot.
  • GaoElephant (ガオエレファント Gao Erefanto): One of GaoWhite's additional Power Animals, its jewel was found with a scroll in a temple. GaoElephant rested within a cave until it was awoken. GaoElephant can transform into a sword and shield weapon that can only be wielded by GaoShark and GaoTiger, which adds Sword and Shield to the name.

GaoMuscle

File:NewKongazord.jpg

GaoMuscle (ガオマッスル Gao Massuru): Combination of GaoGorilla, GaoBear, GaoPolar, GaoBison & GaoEagle. It wields an anchor and chain, called the Muscle Anchor, and two shoulder cannons called the Muscle Cracker. Its two finishing moves are Muscle Lariat, where it strikes with energized punches, and Bear Strike, where blasts are fired from the mouths of GaoBear and GaoPolar.

  • GaoGorilla (ガオゴリラ Gao Gorira): One of GaoRed's additional Power Animals. Becomes GaoMuscle’s upper torso and head. Its special attack is Banana Bomb, where it throws explosive bananas at the enemy. It is awakened by a woman the Gaorangers befriend when they are pulled back in time by GaoGorilla during their journey to find the shining mushroom.
  • GaoBear (ガオベアー Gao Beā): One of GaoYellow's additional Power Animals who originally appeared as a mysterious boy in black. After GaoYellow retrieved flowers for GaoBear and his twin brother, GaoPolar, they gave him two seeds that turned into their Gao Jewels. GaoBear uses the power of fire and transforms into a left arm part. When added to a combination with GaoPolar, Double Knuckle (ダブルナックル Daburu Nakkuru) is added to that formation's name. If only one is used, Knuckle is added, as seen in episode 38 when GaoBear was added alone with GaoKing. His specialty move with GaoPolar is Whirling Frenzy, where the two join their feet together and rapidly spin towards the enemy. GaoBear and GaoPolar didn't initially accept GaoLion, and GaoLion was injured.
  • GaoPolar (ガオポーラー Gao Pōrā): One of GaoYellow's additional Power Animals who originally appeared as a mysterious boy in white. GaoPolar uses the power of ice and transforms into a right arm part.

Soul Bird

Pyo / Soul Bird (ソウルバード Souru Bādo): A special creature that can increase the power of the Gaoranger's Power Animal combinations, excluding GaoHunter. Originally the shining mushroom, it transformed into an egg which then hatched into a small blue bird that GaoRed named Pyo. In episode 14, Pyo evolved into the Soul Bird in order to help the Gaorangers defeat Shuten. Since then the Soul Bird has been used as the cockpit in the formations. When used with GaoKing, Animal Heart is upgraded to Super Animal Heart. This is where the blast attack is not only shot from the Power Animal's mouths, but from a cannon inside the Soul Bird as well. In the Gaoranger Vs. Super Sentai Movie, Super Animal Heart was enhanced by the power from the giant robots of the previous Sentai teams during the battle against Rakushaasa. In episode 27, when Vase Org transported GaoKing and GaoHunter into another dimension, a feather from Pyo escaped and became Yo, an evil, red-eyed version of Pyo, while in place of the trapped Pyo, a pure good Pi was left. Eventually, Tetomu convinced Yo to help the Gaorangers and become the Soul Bird and GaoMuscle Striker was formed for the first time. After the Vase Org was defeated, the two Soul Birds became one again. In the official toy lines it can become a left arm part as well, and "Soul Blast" is an unofficial addition to a formation's name.

  • Pi: The pure good version of Pyo.
  • Yo: The evil, red-eyed version of Pyo

GaoHunter

File:PredaDarkZord.jpg

GaoHunter (ガオハンター Gao Hantā) / GaoHunter Justice (ガオハンタージャステイス Gao Hantā Jasuteisu): Combination of GaoSilver's Power Animals. It is armed with the Crescent Boomerang and Ligator Blade, which can perform the Crescent Moon Cut. Its finishing moves are Beast Hurricane, a blast attack from GaoLigator's mouth, similar to GaoKing's Animal Heart, and Revolver Phantom, where it dashes into its opponent with a spinning Ligator Blade. While under the control of Loki, it was cursed and the Power Animals were referred to as Demon Beasts. But after the curse was broken, the Org horn on its head dissolved and it regained its true face, so GaoSilver decided to rename it to GaoHunter Justice. After GaoGod took away the other Gaorangers Power Animals, GaoHunter had to battle alone against Tinplate Org. But with the energy that the other Gaorangers drew in from their totem Power Animals, GaoHunter was temporarily powered up into GaoHunter Blue Moon (ガオハンターブルームーン Gao Hantā Burū Mūn). As Blue Moon, "Blue" replaces parts of the attack names, and its finishing move is Blue Moon Heart.

  • GaoWolf (ガオウルフ Gao Urufu) / Wolf Roader (ウルフローダー Urufu Rōdā): GaoSilver's totem Power Animal. Acts as a left arm part. Its special attack is Wolf Attack. It can also combine with other mecha when the GaoHunter formation is not possible, adding the name Another Arm (アナザーアーム Anazā Amu). GaoWolf can also transform into GaoSilver's wolf-themed motorcycle, the Wolf Roader.
  • GaoHammerhead (ガオハンマーヘッド Gao Hanmāheddo): One of GaoSilver's additional Power Animals. Acts as a right arm part. Its special attack is Hammer Shot. Like GaoWolf it can also combine with another mecha if the GaoHunter formation is not possible.
  • GaoLigator (ガオリゲーター Gao Rigātā): One of GaoSilver's additional Power Animals. It becomes GaoHunter’s main body and feet. Its tail combines with GaoHammerhead's dorsal fin to become the Ligator Blade weapon for GaoHunter.

GaoGod

File:AnimusMegazord.jpg

Futaro (風太郎 Fūtarō) / GaoGod (ガオゴッド Gao Goddo): The God of the Power Animals (Pawā Animaru no Kami). Tetomu refers to it as Wild God (荒神様 Aragami-sama). Its attacks are Power Arrow, where GaoGod shoots its sword like an arrow, and Wild God Sword. It was used by the ancient Gaorangers and was made from older versions of the current Gaorangers’ totem Power Animals. He was killed 1,000 years ago by Hyakkimaru, which forced Shirogane to don the Dark Wolf Mask. Later on he appeared in spirit form to help the Gaorangers restore Shirogane to normal, including temporarily eclipsing the full moon which caused Loki to temporarily revert back to Shirogane. He was later revived as the human boy Futaro. It turned that as GaoRed & GaoSilver were fighting Ura, the other four were resurrected when awakening GaoFalcon. But the four unknowingly resurrected GaoGod as well. However at one point he took the Power Animals (Except for GaoSilver's) away from the Gaorangers, deeming that humanity does not deserve their help because humans are wasteful creatures and only pollute the earth. But later he had a change of heart and returned the Power Animals and then left. He later showed up in the finale to help against the revived Highness Duke Orgs. In the movie, GaoSilver piloted GaoGod during battle.

  • GaoLeon (ガオレオン Gao Reon): Forms the torso. Black version of GaoLion.
  • GaoCondor (ガオコンドル Gao Kondoru): Forms the head. Blue bird similar to GaoEagle. The parts on its tail that become the horns on GaoGod's helmet are used as the bow for the Power Arrow.
  • GaoSawshark (ガオソーシャーク Gao Sōshāku): Forms the right arm. Red shark with a saw bill that is used as GaoGod’s sword.
  • GaoBuffalo (ガオバッファロー Gao Baffarō): Forms the legs. Similar to GaoBison.
  • GaoJaguar (ガオジャガー Gao Jagā): Forms the left arm. Similar to GaoTiger.

GaoKnight

File:GaoKnight.jpg

GaoKnight (ガオナイト Gao Naito): This and GaoKong are exclusive only to the Gaoranger Movie. It is the combination of GaoKong, GaoEagle, GaoShark, GaoTiger, GaoBison, and GaoElephant along with Soul Bird. Its finishing move is Big Burn Final.

  • GaoKong (ガオコング Gao Kongu): Red version of GaoGorilla. Is a guardian of the island in the movie.

GaoIcarus

File:IsisMega.jpg

GaoIcarus (ガオイカロス Gao Ikarosu): Combination of GaoFalcon, GaoGiraffe, GaoDeers, GaoRhinos, and GaoMadillo. By using GaoFalcon's wings, it can fly or use them as a shield, called Defense Mode. Some of its techniques are Icarus Bind, where the eyes on GaoFalcon’s wings can bind an Org in place, and its finishing move is Icarus Dynamite, which is an enhanced version of Rhino Shoot that is performed as a flip kick from midair. Once when all the other Power Animals but GaoFalcon that make up GaoIcarus were badly damaged from Steam Engine Org, GaoFalcon fused with GaoWolf, GaoHammerhead, and GaoBison to create GaoIcarus Another Foot and Arm (ガオイカロスアナザーフット&アーム Gao Ikarosu Anazā Futto & Āmu). Its finishing move is called Icarus Breaker. Although for some reason GaoIcarus Another Foot and Arm could use GaoHunter’s Ligator Blade even though GaoLigator was not part of the combination.

  • GaoFalcon (ガオファルコン Gao Farukon): One of GaoRed's additional Power Animals. Becomes GaoIcarus or GaoKentaurus’s upper torso and head. After the Highness Duke Ura killed all the Gaorangers except for GaoRed and GaoSilver, the other Gaorangers in the afterlife were able to put a puzzle together that not only awakened GaoFalcon's power but it also returned them to life.
  • GaoGiraffe (ガオジュラフ Gao Jurafu): GaoBlue's additional Power Animal. It was originally in the form of a crane and sent dreams to GaoBlue where GaoKing was no match for Boat Org. During the GaoKing battle Tetomu realizes that a Power Animal was calling to him. So GaoBlue calls out to the Power Animal and the crane GaoBlue used earlier during their fight against Boat Org revealed its true form as GaoGiraffe. Can transform into a right arm part where it becomes a spear, adding the word Spear (スピアー Supiā) to that mecha's name when used with the GaoKing, GaoHunter, or GaoMuscle formations. Its finishing move is Neck Thrust.
  • GaoMadillo (ガオマジロ Gao Majiro): One of GaoBlack's additional Power Animals. He, along with GaoRhinos, was summoned by GaoBison to help against Loki after it was badly damaged from Lawnmower Org. GaoMadillo originally appeared in a miniaturized form when it gave their jewels to GaoBlack. When used in combination with GaoRhinos, GaoMadillo goes into GaoRhinos's right foot. GaoMadillo was once used by GaoKing Another Arm as a bowling ball for the Tornado GaoMadillo Spin technique in order to counter Bowling Org's bowling ball.
  • GaoRhinos (ガオライノス Gao Rainosu): One of GaoBlack's additional Power Animals. Becomes the lower torso and feet for GaoIcarus. GaoRhinos alongside GaoMadillo were summoned by GaoBison to help against Loki after it was badly damaged from Lawnmower Org. The two often replace GaoBison and GaoEagle as legs for GaoKing and GaoMuscle, adding the word Striker (ストライカー Sutoraikā). Their special move is Rhino Shoot, where GaoMadillo crawls out of GaoRhinos and curls up into a ball, and is kicked at the opponent like a soccer ball.
  • GaoDeers (ガオディアス Gao Diasu): One of GaoWhite's Additional Power Animals. It has healing powers, called Deer's Healing, and transforms into a left arm part where its antlers are used as a weapon, called Deers Scissors. When used with GaoKing or GaoMuscle, it adds the word Cross Horn (クロスホーン Kurosu Hōn) to that formation’s name. In the past, Shirogane and Murasaki used to play music for it. But after Murasaki's throat was injured by some Orgettes, it became angry at Shirogane for failing to protect Murasaki and left. With some help from Tetomu, GaoSilver was able to play for GaoDeers once again and it gave Tetomu its jewel. Afterwards, Tetomu gave its jewel to GaoWhite. Its special move is Bubble Capture, and its finishing move is Horn Crash.

GaoKentaurus

GaoKentaurus (ガオケンタウロス Gao Kentaurosu): Combination of GaoFalcon, GaoShark, GaoTiger, GaoElephant, and a giant GaoLion. When Dorodoro trapped the Gaorangers in hell where the spirits of the previous fallen Orgs were, they were unable to summon their Power Animals when Dorodoro became giant. At that time, Tetomu was Rasetsu's prisoner who wanted her to cook for him. But Tetomu was then rescued by the Power Animals. Remembering how the Gaoranger loved her cooking she casts a spell on a piece of food and sends it into GaoLion's mouth causing it to grow several kilometers. GaoKentaurus then saved the Gaorangers from Dorodoro. GaoKentaurus was also used to finish off Rasetsu in the following battle. Its finishing move is called Dance of the Beast King.

Others

In the final episode, four Power Animals are seen among the 100 in the orbs. GaoMouse, GaoPeacock, GaoStingray, and GaoHorse.

GaoPanda (ガオパンダ): Exclusive only to the Gao Access CD. It had a "Bamboo Hurricane" attack.

Flame Pyo (炎のピヨちゃん Honō no Pyochan): A red version of Pyo that appeared in the Gaoranger vs. GaoSilver special. After it hatched, it became Gao Hearts for the six Gaorangers.

GaoMuscle Shark & Tiger / GaoCracker (ガオマッスルシャーク&タイガー GaoMassuru Shāku & Taigā / ガオクラカ一 Gao Kurakā): It is where GaoShark and GaoTiger could replace GaoBear and GaoPolar in the GaoMuscle. While the official artbook lists this formation as GaoMuscle Shark & Tiger, many resources call this formation GaoCracker. Although there was an official picture in the Super Sentai Robo Art Collection, it never appeared on the show. Whenever GaoShark and GaoTiger replaced the arms of a combination, the new formation would be dubbed Gao[Insert original formation] Cracker.
