Template:SpongeBob episode "The Best Day Ever" is the 145th episode of the animated TV show SpongeBob SquarePants. It is also the 27th episode of the fourth season. It will first air on November 10, 2006 after a 24 hour marathon with the same title, along with The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Plot
SpongeBob is going to have the best day ever. First he gets to work at the Krusty Krab. Then he is going to meet Sandy for a little Karate, followed by jellyfishing with Patrick, and Squidward's clarinet recital. But the day does not go exactly as planned. Each of his friends is having a problem which SpongeBob naturally sets out to solve. But this costs him every item on his perfect agenda. When a disappointed SpongeBob realizes that his entire day has been sacrificed, his friends rally around him to give their thanks and make sure his day really is the best ever.
Marathon
This episode will air on November 10, 2006 on a 24-hour marathon, in which Patchy the Pirate incompetently counts down the top 100 SpongeBob episodes, while on a boat in the New York City harbor. Fans voted weeks prior to the marathon on an online poll. The marathon has started on November 9 2006, and is currently running, and will run until November 10, 2006.

- "The Best Day Ever" song can be heard as the last song in the credits of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
- Suggestive content about SpongeBob liking Sandy, because in one commercial, he leaves her flowers with a note saying she is "the smartest, prettiest squirrel in Bikini Bottom."
- The Best Day Ever Album says that Spongebob and his friends were supposed to play in a concert.
- During the Best Day Ever marathon for 24 hours, starting at 9 PM on November 10th, the logo in the right bottom corner changed from Nick, to the Nick at Nite logo. At 6:00am it went back from the "Nick at Nite" logo to the "Nick" logo
- Before Squid on Strike, Patchy is seen reading a men's magazine on Jessica Alba, he is, apparently, a big fan of Alba.

- When the Best Day Ever countdown started, Patchy's hook was on his left side. After the next commercial, his hook was on the right side
