Re: A quick note
Err, I guess you didn't check my userpage. I actually have my political compass score there: Econ -8.25 Social -8.00. I don't trust representatives to represent anyone but themselves and their financial backers. Economically I'm in favor of a gift economy based on mutual aid and voluntary association without any government to speak of, except perhaps consensus direct democracy. I'm also strongly in favor of decentralization. I lean towards post-leftist anarchism which is largely due to crimethInc.'s writings. And I'll just respond to a few of the criticisms you may have now. Yes, it will be incredibly inefficient in terms of economic production, which I like. People are pushed to the limit in our society to compete and sell their labor just for enough to eat or get a few more consumer goods, which is detrimental to relationships (friends, families, lovers), mental health, physical health, spiritual health, not to mention the environment. And yes, it won't happen overnight and will take a lot of time to get people willing to agree to such a system, and I fully realize that the only way to bring it about is to get people to start doing it--it can't be imposed from above. - ahem* executive decision overruled. I'm the judge, it's my courtroom. You can have a trial page under your username that has {{User:Editor at Large/Courtroom}}, but I'm editing on my page. And the trial will start as soon as all positions are filled.

- Am back (stuff put off 40 minutes -- 35 now). Overview of court procedures will be listed at User:Editor at Large/Courtroom/Court procedures. Not there yet, but prepare yourself. — Editor at Large(speak) 23:24, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Mark Dratch
So what's wrong with the page on Mark Dratch? He's a highly respected rabbi who runs an organization that helps people who have been victimized? I keep looking at the page and can't figure out what the big deal is? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DannyCohen (talk • contribs)
I expanded the David Ohanian article and removed the speedy tag that you added. It's still not a perfect article, but the subject is notable. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 04:57, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Hoax
Hey there. I had to remove the SD tag you inserted on Silver monkey wolf, as hoaxes cannot be deleted under WP:CSD#G1. Perhaps WP:CSD#A7 could do, but an admin is likely to speedy it anyway.--Húsönd 00:06, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
AFDed Webcomics
Hey hey. Turns out I actually love web comics; I read about 10 daily. I just hate to see so much non-notable content filling up Wikipedia. I get that the comic's authors put a lot of work into their art (although in some comics that isn't the case), but that doesn't necessarily make the comic notable. A friend of mine draws comics, but I haven't made a page for them here. Know what I'm saying?
We put things in Wikipedia because of notability, not for the hope that an page here will make them more notable. --Brad Beattie (talk) 01:38, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- I see. I'm also a fan of webcomics, though I only really read 8-bit theatre. It just seems that you have some kind of grudge or something, the way so systematically nominate them. :). DoomsDay349 Happy Halloween! 01:45, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
No no, this isn't grudge. This is just me opening a bunch of pages from the category, putting them all up for AFD, then waiting for general consensus before I put up another 5 or 10. I figure if I did them all at once and people had an issue with it, I'd have wasted some people's time. Best to take it a little at a time. --Brad Beattie (talk) 01:53, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Interesting...it's just funny, you know? They're all identical...funny. DoomsDay349 Happy Halloween! 01:54, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Heh. That's because (A) I'm doing them all at the same and (B) they all fail the notability guidelines for the exact same reasons. But yeah, I see what you mean. :) --Brad Beattie (talk) 01:58, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Organizing WikiPlomacy
THe WikiPlomacy page seems to be getting very long. Perhaps we could try and send the seperate country sections into different subpages. These subpages could probably in the userspace of the founders of the nations. On the main WikiPlomacy page, only intranation activity will be posted.--Ed ¿Cómo estás? 03:25, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Images in Sig
I can only wonder if that comment is due to your real conern about WP:SIG or because of the MfD. After all, your own highly colorful and overly long signature could be said to be hard to read. No matter. I will take you on good faith and suggest you look at all these other people (about a 3 minute search) who also used images in their sig.

re:Dragonlance
Thanks for the congratulations and nice signature. I haven't done any work for it yet because I want to help out on Minotaur Wars but I need to refresh my memory. I thought that they could just use that userbox also if they wanted something a little more flashy but take up more space. I don't see any reason to get rid of it, but maybe you do. Thanks again for the congrats! Randfan 20:20, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Cool, want me to wait for you? I'm not done with Night of Blood, yet. Randfan 20:25, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't no why, but it took me forever to get 260 pages into the first one. Its a good book but its just long. I should finish it this weekend. Randfan 20:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I need to purchase them all (borrowing from the library right now...) Randfan 20:37, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have the same need. Its just that around me it seems like they only have part of the series and, in the Blood series, have none. I hearda new store is opening up soon so I hope I'll get them there. Even the library only has this one... Randfan 20:40, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- I wish there was a B&A or Borders, we don't even have an organized mail system (for example: Just this past weekend I got a letter from my Aunt in California (not too far away) that was mailed in July). So, yeah, my case is kinda bad. But not as bad a E@L. Oh, Lord Almighty please help her... Randfan 20:47, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- It is disturbing. And the irony in that was great *chuckle*. Will do. Randfan 20:58, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

don't touch my talk page
Hi, just please don't delete stuff from my talk page, OK? I've sent an e-mail asking E@L how private she wants to keep this, and I'm awaiting a response. Thanks. --Kyoko 21:06, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I understand. It's just that in the past I have had problems with people typing thoughtless comments on my talk page, and then returning a day or two later to revise whatever they said, after I had already read and answered their messages, so I'm sorry if I wasn't assuming good faith. --Kyoko 21:12, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Re: Ed
Sure thing, you may want to see his block log, and also the history of my talk page. There is no WP:ANI archive I can refer you to (I got admins through IRC), but he also subsequently disruptively harassed User:Blnguyen for the same thing. It does not surprise me one bit that he's done this to Ral, and frankly, its plain harassment. – Chacor 00:38, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
