The 2006-07 PBA Philippine Cup or known as the 2006-07 Talk N' Text PBA Philippine Cup is the first conference of the 2006-07 PBA season. It started on September 28 in Guam and is expected to end around February 2007. The tournament is an All-Filipino format, therefore, there are no import (pure-foreign) players on any team.
Talk N' Text, a subsidiary of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, is the main sponsor for the tournament.
Format
- Double-round robin format; 18 games per team; #10 team will be eliminated
- Top two teams automatically advances to the semifinals
- #3, #4 and #5 teams automatically advance to the quarterfinals
- #6, #7, #8 and #9 teams play in a single-round robin for the final spot in the quarterfinals
