Hartenberg-Münchfeld

Hartenberg-Münchfeld, called Hamü is the student quarter of Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Many of the about 35,000 students live there. It is the seat of the regional TV station SWR and of the stadium of first league football club Mainz 05. Famous people include Nobel Prize Winner Paul Joseph Crutzen and fashion designer Anja Gockel.

It is north of the Mainz University and has about 15,000 inhabitants. In 1989, the Inner City of Mainz was devided in four new quarters and Hartenberg-Münchfeld is one of them.
