Big Mountain Ski Resort is a ski resort located about 8 miles north of Whitefish, Montana. It is about 19 miles from Glacier Park International Airport. It is the second largest ski area in Montana, after Big Sky Resort. Once a small regional ski area, large condominium and housing developements near the mountain have increased its popularity. This has seen lift ticket prices rise to over $50 for a one-day pass.[1]
