Hitler was given oppertunity during WWII to have an atomic bomb created and used in order to strike revenge on England. He refused the offer in part due to Einstein being Jewish (and his Theory of Relativity is necessary to achieve nuclear weaponry), and also because he feared that the atomic bomb might be "too powerful." Hitler asked a scientist if it were possible that the atomic bomb could blow up the entire world, and the scientist answered that it was a possibility. Thus the atomic was never put to use by Hitler (thankfully).
