NER Class R

The North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class R (aka LNER Class D20) is a class of 4-4-0 steam locomotive, designed by Wilson Worsdell. After 1957, no D20s survived to preservation.

In fiction

Edward the Blue Engine, from Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends bears a close resemblance to the D20.
