Jamie Lynn Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears (born April 4, 1991) is an American actress from Kentwood, Louisiana. She was in a Pepsi television commercial in 2002 and played "young Lucy" in Crossroads (also in 2002); her older sister, pop singer Britney Spears, played "old Lucy". Jamie appeared in 2001's Totally Britney Live and has a supporting role in the television program All That. Spears' hobbies include gymnastics, dancing and cheerleading. She was cast on All That by publicly stating her desire to be on the show in an interview, and she is unpopular in many circles because many people feel that she has gotten roles via nepotism. After getting phone calls from Don Swayze and Chris Penn, she no longer felt guilty about getting the role on the show. She now stars in a new show on Nickelodeon called Zoey 101 in which girls try to change the traditions of an all-male school. In 2005, she appeared on the cover of two Seventeen magazines, and she noted that she does not want to follow in her sister's footsteps and would rather make her own.
