Summary
Nba Live '06 is a game released on the XBOX 360, XBOX, Gamecube, and the Playstation 2. It is the second newest EA Sports Basketball Game, the 1st newest being Nba Live '07. In the game, you can choose to play Dynasty mode, Season mode, Playofs mode, or Free Play Mode.
Dynasty Mode
In Dynasty Mode, you choose one team(excluding the All Star Teams) and you run a dynasty. This means you have to play thru multiple seasons. You can decide the number of matches per season and the difficulty. You can also trade players away and hire new players along with coaches. You can simulate games, so you don't have to play.
Season Mode
In Season Mode, you play one season of Basketball, unlike Dynasty Mode, where you play multiple seasons.
Playoffs Mode
In the Playoffs, you play the playoffs with teams either from the Eastern or Western Conference. It is the same except you cannot choose all teams, as this is based on the 2004-05 season.
All Star Weekend
In the All Star Weekend, you can choose to do a rookie game, a dunk contest, or a 3 pointer contest. In the dunk contest, you try to do a fancy dunk and the one with the most points wins. In the 3 pointer contest, you try to score as many 3 pointers as possible.
Jukebox
The Jukebox is the music player. The game will naturally play songs for you when you are on any menu. You can go to the Jukebox and change what songs the play. Some artists they have are the Black Eyed Peas, Fort Minor, Bishop Lamont, and Afu Ra.
OTher Features
Other features include Dunk School, where they teach you to dunk for dunk contests. In Freestyle Contest, you do dunk competitions and 3 point shootouts. You can also buy shoes that improve your character.
