Zhou Dynasty (周 690-705). The only Chinese dynasty found by a woman, Wu Ze Tian (武則天 wu3 ze2 tian1) who named herself Wu Zhao (武曌 wu3 zhao4). Although it was short-lived, the estbalishment of the dynasty was the direct result of better equality between the sexes during Tang Dynasty.
