1st attempt edit

its a rip off from Template:Google. If anyone can improve it, then so be it. --Ageo020 (talkcontribscount) 21:58, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

LocationFree edit

I've added LocationFree and improved the product article as best I can. 195.92.40.49 20:03, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

'Historical' products edit

Why are the DVD and the CD listed as historical products? Sony is still selling both the discs and devices to play them on. --Anym 12:58, 27 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Buncha revisions there. I kind of had some trouble with things like MiniDisc and Video8, though, since those products are still available but clearly pretty close to EOL. Also, I added U-matic (seemed odd that it wasn't there) and am about to add DAT. The Technologies and Historical Products sections should be in roughly chronological order now. What is historical about the SRS-17? The Seventh Taylor (talk) 02:05, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Groups edit

I think we should go ahead and add groups with SPE and MGM. Arrange them the best way you can. King Shadeed 16:44, 16 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • SPE has already been listed under the "Operating segments."--Krtek2125 01:21, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Technologies and brands edit

Should i.Link be mentioned here? Arguably the technology originally is not Sony's but the brand is. The Seventh Taylor (talk) 21:45, 20 January 2008 (UTC) . —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gatemansgc (talkcontribs) 19:43, 25 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate edit

Don't duplicate the Sony Entertainment navbox. Then what is the point of the Sony Entertainment navbox? --Spshu (talk) 13:59, 2 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sony Music Entertainment Japan shouldn't be listed inside of the template since it's already a section. That's redundancy. 108.246.199.105 (talk) 01:02, 3 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

It shouldn't read like that. It should only have it as "Sony Pictures, Sony Music, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing" for Sony Entertainment.108.246.199.105 (talk) 19:12, 3 January 2019 (UTC) 108.246.199.105 (talk) 19:12, 3 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. DannyS712 (talk) 21:43, 3 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

That's not my point. The primary businesses for Sony Entertainment should only read as this: (Sony Pictures, Sony Music, Sony/ATV Music Publishing) and that's it in that section. This is what I've found.
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. – Jonesey95 (talk) 23:47, 6 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
That's the reliable source from Deadline. How can it not be a reliable source?

Read this from the source: "Lynton joined Sony Pictures Entertainment in January 2004 and, with Co-Chairman Amy Pascal, they put the studio on a path of stability and success across its lines of business. Lynton was appointed to the additional role of CEO, Sony Entertainment, Inc. in 2012, overseeing Sony’s global entertainment businesses, including Sony Music Entertainment, Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Sony Pictures." Does it have the subdivisions in the article?108.246.199.105 (talk) 23:36, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. — Newslinger talk 10:44, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
You know what? Forget it. That was just a simple request with me leaving a source with how the section of Sony Entertainment should be read in primary business. Just forget it.108.246.199.105 (talk) 23:38, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
