How do I upload a story or an article about a celebrity

Do replies come via email?

I was alarmed to get an email from the first person who replied to me, but it occurred to me that this might be an automatic function of the page. Does the page generate an email for each response? Thanks. Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 13:07, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Question

What does this page actually do? none of the questions archived asked seem to have been answered, activity also seems low. Dysklyver 21:06, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@A Den Jentyl Ettien Avel Dysklyver: It doesn't do much right now! We're interested in finding ways to republicise it and get the place active again though. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 10:58, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It might be an idea to link here from the reference desk or the community portal, its a bit obscure at the moment, I found it via the Wikipedia Library, but that is in no way a high traffic area either. I was initially thinking it could be a duplicate of the reference desk itself, but on a further look it seems to be slightly different. Dysklyver 13:35, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah it's intended to be positioned somewhere between the reference desk and resource exchange. A place for providing help with finding reliable sources, but not broad answers, on subjects, and not for providing links/access. I agree that linking from WP:RD would be a good idea, and also from WP:RX. Samwalton9 (WMF) (talk) 14:52, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
