Template:Union Councils Phalkot is one of the 51 Union Councils of Abbottabad District in the North-West Frontier province of Pakistan [1].

Location

Phalkot Malsa is located at 34° 9' 40N 73° 22' 30E and has an average elevation of 1747 metres (5734 feet)[2] IT is the most beautiful union council of abbottabad.It is lead by its nazim who is MALIK MUSHTAQ AHMED.the people of this uc leed simple life.they are basically poor but some of it have reached to forign.BUTthe thing which is imortant about the people is they are too much cooprative to each others.

Subdivisions

The Union Council is subdivided into two areas Phalkot and Malsa[3], that include other settlements including Kutli Sehana Jandar Bari Buni Gali Upri Kutli bari Nalla KALSAN KEHALI TOPPA BUYYA Nakra.

Language

Hindko is widely spoken throughout the area, Urdu being national language also understand and spoken here.english is spoken and understood by some people. pushto are also understand by some people.

There are mostly AWANCast people which entered from the khyber Pass from Peshawar.AWANs are very brave people because this is a cast of Hazrat Ali (shair_e_khuda)and as well as ABBASIare in very little bit.
