Luke Steele (born September 24, 1984 in Peterborough) is an English football player. He is a goalkeeper currently on loan to Coventry City from Manchester United.

Steele signed for Manchester United from Peterborough United on June 8, 2002 for £500,000. He went to school at Arthur Mellows Village College, Glinton, Peterborough, where he is still involved in various charity events. He was loaned to Coventry City during the 2004/2005 season, a move that was repeated for the 2006/2007 season

For the 2005-06 season he returned to Old Trafford and, following the departures of Ricardo and Roy Carroll he was third choice keeper for the senior side behind Edwin van der Sar and Tim Howard. He is now 2nd choice behind Edwin van der Sar, following Tim Howard's and Ben Foster's season-long loan moves to Everton and Watford respectively.

He has been selected for the England under-21 squad.

For the 2006/2007 season he has been loaned to Coventry City.

He than joined West Bromwich Albion where he will compete against Russell Hoult and Pascal Zuberbuhler in a swop deal with Tomasz Kuszcack
