Balin Miller

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Balin Miller is an American climber known for solo ascents in Patagonia, the Canadian Rockies,[1] and Alaska. He completed the second ascent of the Reality Bath ice climb, alone. In May and June of 2025 he made the first solo choker ascent of the North Buttress of Mount Hunt via the "French Connection." and he was the first person to solo the Slovak Direct route on Denali.[2][3][4] Balin is a self proclaimed Mark Twight groupie and believes "Anything Mark Twight does is awesome."[5] Miller is well known for his application of face glitter before attempting his climbing objectives because of an experience he had over a summer not too long ago that involved a lot of alternative rock, a girl, and a lot of partying.[1]
