I love seeing that little bar that says "You have new messages."
I do ask that you follow some guidelines when leaving me a message:
1. Please be civil.
2. Please sign your messages by typing ~~~~ or by using the edit toolbar. The automated signature button is the one to the right of the crossed out "W".
If I feel that a response is needed, I will do my best to reply within 24 hours.
Please understand if I do not respond immediately. Also please be understanding if I do not answer your message in the order that it was received.
I will ordinarily answer on your talk page, unless requested to do otherwise. Thank you!
Thanks, and thanks
For your birthday wishes, and also for the congratulations :) --May the Force be with you! Shreshth91 06:53, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Well Wishes
Hi Kyoko, I just wanted to wish you a lot of luck with the hospital stuff. I always hate going into hospitals (actually, I don't know anyone who likes it) so I feel for you, and will be thinking about you. Be strong :) Thε Halo Θ 10:33, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Kyoko, good to see you out of the hospital and back here, and sorry to see that you've still got some health issues. Must suck :( Remember, I'm always here should you need to talk. Thε Halo Θ 11:18, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Kyoko. I knew you went for an evaluation type thing, but still, any time in hospital is too long for me ;) And i'm afraid I can't see your new sig, so it just looks like your old one still to me. I'm sure that if I could see it though, I'd like it :) Sorry I can't be more help to your sig efforts :( Thε Halo Θ 10:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Bosentan
Just a quick thank you for expanding Bosentan. I know it's been over a month, but I only noticed your edits today. Thanks again, Fvasconcellos 13:48, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I find appreciation is always appreciated, especially where it's due :) Fvasconcellos 23:26, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
B-day
Thanks for the b-day wishes, buddy. =) Nishkid64 19:47, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Wishing you lots and lots of luck
Here's me wishing it very hard. And a speedy recovery too. Itsmejudith 20:13, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey
Hey Kyoko, let me know if/when you're back. I hope you're keeping well. Love, riana_dzasta 23:53, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- That's good to hear! Glad to read you don't need dialysis, that sounds like such a draining procedure. I hope you reach the point where you don't require meds at all, very soon! Is work and normal life being hindered much by all this? I hope not. riana_dzasta 00:07, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't read very closely *embarrassed* That's awful. I hope that you feel strong enough to get back into your normal pattern soon. Until then, you always have us :) On that note, I have to leave to go to university, but please feel free to keep in touch, on or off-Wiki. All the best, riana_dzasta 00:25, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, just everything in general. Maybe it wasn't a very polite question on my part, either... Let's forget about it :) riana_dzasta 06:09, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Lots of luck from me as well.
Remember, you have a "family" here as well :) Will (Glaciers melting in the dead of night) 00:50, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Win some, lose some
We all know that in our heads, but somehow it doesn't make life easier. ;-( I hope you get used to the pain from the meds and/or that you don't have to keep taking them forever. I know it would annoy me intensely and that would make it worse, but then I'm not as patient a person as I ought to be. Very glad to know you don't need the dialysis any more. - You're welcome. Getting out of the hospital is most definitely a step forward! — Editor at Large(speak) 01:51, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Re:Signature
I think it would be fine; not everybody can see the Papyrus font, either, so my signature and userpage appear in normal font for them. If people don't have the Zapfino font installed your sig will look to them how it is now. — Editor at Large(speak) 16:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
testing talk page box
This is a test of the emergency purple box system. This is only a test. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. If this had been an actual emergency, the tone that you have heard would have been followed by Barney singing "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family," and other stuff. This concludes our test of the emergency purple box system. --Kyoko 03:55, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
testing talk page box
Hi there, it's me trying out my talk page! Love, --Kyoko 04:13, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Your hospital visit
I don't think I did assume it was an emergency; I know that when someone has had a big health emergency then every hospital visit can be scary. (I have someone in the family very ill at the moment, an elderly person.) I'm fine, a little harrassed and not particularly good at making priorities. I'm hoping your depression is starting to lift and of course that your medication is not causing you too much pain. I noticed that the article you directed me to about your medication was one you had written yourself, and an excellent WP article it was too. Perhaps you should get it reviewed, although I don't know much about the criteria for medical articles. 17:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Itsmejudith (talk • contribs)
- What I liked about the treprostinil article was that it has a nice clear lead and no unnecessary jargon. It's pitched just right for most likely audiences. You could perhaps link a few more of the medical terms, even headache; although everyone knows what a headache is basic terms, reading this article might make them realise they need further knowledge about headache as a medical symptom. The way I browse WP (Internet Explorer in Windows XP) your signature doesn't look any different. I haven't paid any attention at all to signatures so far, but I think maybe I should try to put some green in mine to indicate Esperanza membership. Not a very stressful day today, except for the incessant rain. "England's green and pleasant land", the poet said (yes, because it rains so much). Thanks for your wishes for my relative, but it is cancer and she and the rest of us are going to find the next months difficult. Itsmejudith 14:10, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Pruritis/itching: it's a difficult one. You could put the medical term first with the link and then the ordinary language equivalent after in brackets. Editors will have different opinions. But no reader will be completely stuck as they can always click on the link. A while ago I intervened in the article square root which I thought was unintelligble to the lay reader. The regular editors there were very approachable and I think the article is better now. If you wanted to have a quick look and give your opinion it would be very welcome. (Would be good also to have some people read it who know very little about maths, which I don't think includes you!)Itsmejudith 14:41, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it's the tiredness that comes with chemo that is the major worry at the moment - she is about to start her third round of it and it will last over Christmas. Just a quick glance at square root, especially the lead, would be fine, and no hurry at all. Square roots will be around for a while longer. Your level of maths is about the same as mine. Since I had added the userbox for intermediate mathematician I thought maybe I should do something about it and look at a relevant article. Some people say "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" but I think the 'pedia is usually improved by collaboration of experts, intermediates and beginners. Itsmejudith 18:39, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for your replies. I think in square root we need at least to link to negative. "Non-negative" is a hard term for the start of the lead but I'm not sure if it can be replaced by "positive" (there is the zero question). I might raise this on the talk page. It's very hard for those who are mathematically literate to put themselves in the shoes of those who are not. That's why your aim to make medical articles accessible without diluting their scientific accuracy is so laudable. Thanks also for the suggestion about the medication to counteract the effects of chemo for my relative. Much appreciated, but I'm not really in a position to offer suggestions. Like a lot of people of her generation she has absolute faith in doctors and if we were to question that it would only make her feel insecure, which probably wouldn't be good for her health. Take care. 22:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Itsmejudith (talk • contribs)

Userpage
Your talk page is very cool! Yes, I had people with their real names like that before, then I was unsure as to whether they wanted their real names up here or not. But they're on their userpages, so why not? I'll do that now :) Thanks for the advice, and all credits go to Erich, not me :) riana_dzasta 05:57, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Stress
The Snopake affair is still troubling me, as well as something that I shouldn't say on the Wiki. Will (Glaciers melting in the dead of night) 11:53, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
re Treprostinil
Not a problem. Although, I have seen it referred to as "Trepostinil" before, even in journal articles. A Google search gets 1,100 hits... If it is a misspelling (rather than a paracetamol/acetaminophen sort of thing) you certainly weren't the only one to make it. Fvasconcellos 14:19, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Test 1: Self-reverted test in User talk:Tachikoma
Level 1s message
Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia, as you did on the page User talk:Tachikoma! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. If you would like to learn more about Wikipedia, I suggest looking at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks for your interest, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia.

- They're so pretty - as if you'd vandalise after receiving such gorgeous mauve messages :) I think I should put custom warnings out there, as I worry about calling people vandals with an Esperanza link in my signature. Just doesn't feel right. riana_dzasta 01:30, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Only problem I can see is that the title of the message, eg Level 1s message, is a header, which makes it appear as so in the TOC. Perhaps make it <big> instead? riana_dzasta 01:32, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm off to uni now - talk later? :) riana_dzasta 01:36, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

About my page
Do you think I should move User:Springeragh/UserPage back to User:Springeragh now instead of some time when I might become an admin? I keep thinking about it, but I can't seem to come up with an answer myself either way.
One other thing. At the top of this page, where it says "Please understand if I do not respond immediately, or in the order that your message was received", is there something you forgot to type there (or is it something with my computer)? I like the idea, though. :) I'll have to come up with my own some day and stop copying TUF's… — $PЯINGεrαgђ 03:09, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Good idea (maybe in the place of the Esperanza flag I have there now).
- About the edits…I did know that, but it's still good to have someone call me on it once in a while. I am trying to get my main edits up (200 as of now I believe, which surprised me), and actually I have created two stubs, but I'm creating a list in my sandbox. As for user space edits…926 as of now shows the addiction of my metapedian side. :| — $PЯINGεrαgђ 15:14, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wow. That is an impressive article (yeah, I know I'm breaking WP:TOE
). About edits though, my conjecture is that once I get ≈1000 main edits, my user, user talk, and project edits will be over 2000 each. :| (I hope by then I'll have enough major edits to balance out.) — $PЯINGεrαgђ 17:01, 24 October 2006 (UTC) P.S. Since I know you know perhaps more about classical music than I do, would it be too much for me to ask of you to review the list once I finish it and move it into the main space?

Yes, I am a fan of the series. I didn't think anyone woud recognise it (I now realize tha that was rather stupid). Are you a fan? If so what book are you on? I'm on Path of Daggers. Randfan 17:34, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with you. His writing does become less concise. Did you read New Sring? I would have before I read the rest of the series, but I found out about its existance too late and willgo back when I'm done. I heard it ruins the Eye Of the World, too, so I'm happy I didn't read it first. I'm this far in the series, so I figure I might as well finish it, right! I bet there won't be too many people who recognise the name! :) Randfan 21:14, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
