What is Wikipedia?
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia written collaboratively by many of its readers.
How can this work?
Thousands of people are constantly improving Wikipedia, making hundreds of changes an hour, so it becomes bigger and better every day. All changes are recorded on the page history and the Recent Changes page. Nonsense and vandalism are usually removed quickly.
How can I help?
Don't be afraid to edit pages on Wikipedia - anyone can edit, and we encourage users to be bold! Worried about breaking Wikipedia? Don't. It can be improved later (or reverted back to an earlier version)! So go ahead, edit an article and help make Wikipedia the best resource for information on the Internet!
