Hellraiser: Hellworld (also known as Hellraiser VIII: Hellworld), is a horror movie that was released on DVD on September 6, 2005. It is the eighth film in the Hellraiser series. It was directed by Rick Bota.
Plot
Pinhead appears to return in the eighth Hellraiser film to terrorize five friends who are Hellraiser fans addicted to an online computer game called Hellworld.
Lance Henriksen plays "the Host". His son Adam, who was a fan of all things to do with Hellworld and Lemarchand, had killed himself thinking he was giving his soul to the Cenobites.
The Host, angry at Adam's friends for not preventing his suicide, organizes a Hellworld Party for all fans of the macabre, knowing that the five friends will come. He learns all about Lemarchand and Hell and the Cenobite cult surrounding it, so that he can seem genuine and get his revenge.
After drugging all five of Adam's friends with a powerful psychedelic, the Host buries them each in their own coffin with tube for air on the grounds of the house where the party was held. As the story progresses from the perspective of reality, Adam's friends begin to perish in their own hysteria (made of fear and knowledge of the Pinhead myth).
At the end of the movie Chelsea and Jake are both rescued by the police, several days after the party, after someone mysteriously calls the cops from the party house (what appears to be Adam's ghost). The Host is seen in a hotel or apartment bedroom where he opens the box and meets Pinhead, his first true appearance in the movie, whose fellow Cenobites quickly slice the host into pieces.
