ASG Eye Hospital is a chain of super‑specialty eye hospitals headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Founded in December 2005 by Dr. Arun Singhvi and Dr. Shilpi Gang (both AIIMS Delhi alumni), the network has expanded to more than 160 centres across 83 cities in India, with international branches in Kathmandu (Nepal) and Kampala (Uganda).[1]. The first ASG facility was launched in Jodhpur in December 2005 by Dr. Arun Singhvi and Dr. Shilpi Gang. Over the following two decades, ASG pursued organic growth and strategic acquisitions. In February 2023, the National Company Law Tribunal approved the company’s resolution plan for acquiring Vasan Healthcare Pvt Ltd, with a bid of ₹526 crore endorsed by 98% of the Committee of Creditors[3]. That same year, ASG also acquired a majority stake in Vedanta Eye Hospitals, reinforcing its expanding presence, particularly in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region[4].
