[edit]aerpace is an Indian tech and innovation company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Founded in 2019, the company focuses on developing electric and autonomous aerial mobility systems, with a long-term goal of addressing urban congestion and reducing carbon emissions in transportation. aerpace's operations span research and development in eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft, infrastructure for aerial mobility, and renewable energy integration. aerpace Industries Limited is a publicly listed[1] company on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
History
[edit]aerpace[2] was incorporated in 2019 and has since developed several mobility platforms to integrate air and ground transportation. Its research and development center[3] in Chakan, Pune, spans 180,000 square feet and includes a facility for manufacturing solar panels to support the company’s renewable energy requirements.

[edit]The aerWing is aerpace’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, designed for multiple use cases. It has a cruise speed of approximately 200 km/h and is intended to serve passenger mobility, cargo logistics, and emergency medical services.
- aerTaxi – A passenger transport solution capable of carrying up to six passengers for intercity and urban air routes.
- aerDrive – A personal air vehicle that aims to blend the experience of car driving with aerial mobility between vertiports.
- aerCare – A dedicated medical emergency version of aerWing designed for rapid response and transport in critical situations.
aerDock
[edit]The aerDock serves as a vertiport and charging/fueling station for the aerWing fleet. It is part of aerpace’s larger air mobility infrastructure ecosystem.
aerShield
[edit]aerShield is the defence and surveillance division of aerpace. It operates using a proprietary operating system known as aerOS, which incorporates artificial intelligence for autonomous decision-making. aerShield[4] develops unmanned aerial systems designed for applications such as monitoring sensitive areas, conducting threat detection, and providing support in risk mitigation while minimizing human involvement.
aerpace Racers
[edit]aerpace Racers is the motorsport division of aerpace, focused on showcasing high-performance mobility technology through competitive racing. The division is represented internationally by Sanjay Takale, a rally driver and director at aerpace. aerpace Racer Takale is recognized as the first Indian driver[5] to complete the Dakar Rally and plays a dual role by contributing both to the company’s technology initiatives and by mentoring emerging motorsport talent.
Vision and Mission
