Alexis Dang Pei Yuan (Chinese: 滕沛源; pinyin: Teng Peiyuan; born 1985 or 1986) is a Singaporean business executive and politician. She was introduced as part of the Workers' Party (WP) slate to contest in the Punggol Group Representation Constituency for the 2025 Singaporean general election.
Early life and education
[edit]Born in Singapore, Dang spent some years of her childhood in Taiwan. Dang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honours from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration, expected to be completed in July 2025, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).[1]
Career
[edit]Dang has over six years in finance as a relationship manager in wealth management and private banking, followed by more than eight years in the technology sector. Currently, she serves as the Senior Director of Publisher Business Development at Teads, leading a team focused on expanding supply in the Asia-Pacific region.[2]
Dang got involved in politics in 2020, and began volunteering for the Workers' Party (WP). She was eventually fielded with Harpreet Singh Nehal, Jackson Au and Siti Alia to contest at the Punggol Group Representation Constituency in the 2025 Singaporean general election.[1][2] During the campaigning period, Dang rebuffed Sun Xueling's comment in a rally speech which she stated that Punggol does not need "strangers", referring to the WP team. Dang questioned if the "stranger" comment is better applied to Gan Kim Yong, which made a last minute move from Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency to Punggol to contest.[3]
Personal life
[edit]Dang is single, and lives with her mother and her younger sister.[4][2]
