Chikodili Benita Ugochukwu, professionally known as Benita Onyiuke, is a Nigerian actress, screenwriter, and film producer. She is recognized for her leading roles in Nollywood dramas and family-themed films. Onyiuke has produced and starred in movies under her banner B’nit Production, and she has been featured in international film festivals.[1][2]
Career
[edit]Onyiuke’s career spans both acting and production. She founded **B’nit Production**, through which she has produced lots of Nollywood films, elevating emerging talent and promoting women-led narratives in the industry.[3]
Her 2025 film *A Ride With Forever* was officially selected for screening at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF), reinforcing her international impact.[4][5]
Onyiuke was nominated for **Best Supporting Actress in Africa** at the 2024 Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival for her role in *Tender Hedges*.
She won **Best Lead Actress in English** at the 2023 Nigeria Achievers Awards and received a **Special Recognition Award** from the Nigerian Women Achievers Awards in 2025.[6]
