Dylan Moody (born 11 March 2008) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League side Southampton. He is the son of English rugby union player Lewis Moody.[1]
Early life
[edit]He joined the Southampton Academy having been linked to the club through their development centre in Bath, Somerset from the age of eight years-old.[2]
Club career
[edit]After progression through the age-group sides at Southampton, he made his debut for their under-18 side during the 2023-24 season, making 13 appearances across all competitions. He also trained with the first team squad on occasion during the season. He signed a scholarship contract with the club in July 2024.[3][4]
International career
[edit]In 2023, he made his debut for England U16 at the Val-de-Marne Tournament.[5]
Personal life
[edit]He is the son of English former rugby union player Lewis Moody.[6]
