Emilio Banzon Daez (Tagalog: [ɛmˈɪlɪˌə͡ʊ ˈdaʔes]; born March 10, 2000) is a Filipino actor, host and a social media personality. Daez is well known for starring in Pamilya Sagrado. He is currently under the management of Star Magic.[1][2]
Early life and education
[edit]Emilio Banzon Daez was born on March 10, 2000, in Manila, Philippines to a family of nine siblings. He is the younger brother of actor and content creator Mikael Daez.[3]
Daez attended Ateneo de Manila University from grade school to college, earning a degree in management engineering. Before his transition to showbiz, Daez worked as a banker in the Bank of the Philippine Islands for almost two years.[4]
Career
[edit]Daez was announced as part of the cast of the action drama series Pamilya Sagrado in 2024. He portrayed the role of Leon Arevalo Jr., the hot-tempered fraternity boy.[5] This would mark his first role in the industry. He would later make headlines after becoming the second celebrity contestant to win the one million jackpot prize on ABS-CBN's game show Rainbow Rumble.[6] Daez also has a supporting role in Saving Grace as Wilson Hernandez.[7]
In 2025, Daez was introduced as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.[8][9] He joined as "Ang Mr. Bankable Achiever ng Pasig".[10] He placed 15th in the edition and exited the house with duo-partner, Michael Sager.[11] He will star in his first lead role in the upcoming series Love at First Spike.[12]
