This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. Comment: It appears that he has had an important impact at his university. However, being Dean is not an automatic qualification for a Wikipedia page in the WP:NPROF criteria. He dies not have that significant a publication record that I can find, or major awards. If he had the latter then it might justify notability. Ldm1954 (talk) 07:34, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
