Gregtech is a popular modification for Minecraft created by GregoriousT. It was inspired by mods such as IndustrialCraft and Immersive Engineering.

Gragtech includes realistic resource generation and processing. Realistic resource generation replaces vanilla ores such as iron with real life counterparts such as Limonite and Magnetite. Realistic ore processing allows for the extraction of various byproducts, for example instead of smelting galena ore into lead ingots, the player can crush the ore and then smelt it in a blast furnace while supplying oxygen to obtain sulfur dioxide and silver along with lead.

Gregtech also includes various machinery that allows for the automation of in game items. Each machine has several versions, each for a different voltage tier. using high voltage machines leads to faster crafting times as well as crafting recipes not available on lower voltages. Using high voltage on low voltage machines will cause them to explode while using low voltage on high voltage machines will cause them to not have enough power.
