Hamlet Pargev Ghazaryan (Armenian: Համլետ Պարգևի Ղազարյան; born 2 June 1994, Salut, Shirak Province, Armenia) is an Armenian actor and radio host.[1][2]

Biography

Hamlet Ghazaryan was born on 2 June 1994 in the village of Salut, Shirak Province. He attended Musayelyan Secondary School. In 2008, he moved with his family to Gyumri, where he completed his schooling at Gyumri Mesrop Mashtots Secondary School No. 29. In 2012, he was admitted to the Gyumri branch of the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography, which he graduated from in 2016.[3] Since 2016, he moved to Yerevan and began his acting career in television series and films.[4]

Theatre

Hamlet Ghazaryan started his theatre career at the Vardan Ajemian State Drama Theatre of Gyumri. He has performed various roles. In the play "Mesrop Mashtots" directed by Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, he played the role of Mesrop. In Arthur Sahakyan's staging of "King Lear," he portrayed Edmund.[7][8]

Poetry

Hamlet Ghazaryan is also a poet. He regularly publishes his writings and thoughts on his personal blog called "My Thought Storm" available on the Telegram platform.[10]

Personal Life

He is married to director Anna Sargsyan. The couple has one child.[11]

Current Work

In 2025, Hamlet Ghazaryan is working on a new role portraying the great Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents.[12]
