History

[edit]

HealthyBaby was launched in 2021 by Shazi Visram, who previously founded the organic food brand Happy Family (food company) Organics. The brand emerged from Visram's personal experience following her son's autism diagnosis and aims to address product safety in early childhood health.[1][2] In 2021, the company introduced the first diaper that earned verification from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) for compliance with its ingredient safety standards.[3][4]

Distribution

[edit]

HealthyBaby began as a direct-to-consumer company and expanded to retail distribution in 2023 when it launched its diapers and wipes in Target stores across the U.S.[5][6]

Notable people

[edit]

In 2024, actress, entrepreneur, and mom Hilary Swank was named Chief Innovation Officer of HealthyBaby.[7]

Certifications

[edit]

HealthyBaby products carry the EWG Verified mark for compliance with ingredient criteria and transparency standards.[4]
