[edit]Jennifer Gastelum is a first-generation Mexican-American who relocated to Las Vegas in 1997. She graduated from Rancho High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.[1]
In 2010, she enrolled at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. She was named Student of the Year in the Community Service Program in 2011 for teaching legal classes in Spanish to underserved litigants. She also earned a CALI Excellence Award and graduated in the top third of her class in 2013.[1]
Career
[edit]Setters was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2013 and to the Arizona Bar in 2014.[2] She worked at several Nevada firms before founding her own practice, Jennifer Gastelum Law PLLC (now Gastelum Attorneys), in 2018.[1] Her firm focuses on family law and personal injury, offering bilingual services in English and Spanish.[3]
