Kelly Dever was a woman who played a critical role in the defense's case of in the trial of Karen Read for the death of John O'Keefe. Dever worked for Canton police at the time of O'Keefe's death and was on shift during the morning when his remains were discovered. While on patrol during her shift, she was reassigned to dispatch on the fly as other officers were attending to the scene.
