Ken Nohara (野原 健, Nohara Ken) (born September 11, 1995) is a Japanese-born cybersecurity and demographic researcher at Kyoto University.[1] He is the founder of LexCura,[2][3] a cybersecurity company that develops software and works alongside Interpol and the International Finance Corporation.[4]
Early life
[edit]Nohara's father, Hiroshi Nohara was a Japanese cultural history professor who became known for living almost four months in an airport in Mexico.[5][6] His mother was an American economist. At the age of 13, Nohara created a fansite for Studio Ghibli, a Japanese animation studio.[7]
Career
[edit]In 2021, Nohara founded LexCura, a company that consults for matters relating to cybersecurity.[8] According to The Independent, outside of the Middle East, Nohara's company primarily works in Asia and Brazil, although it operates internationally.[4]
In 2024, Nohara acquired the collectable Telegram username "Israel" via TON.[9] The transaction became controversial over digital ownership ethics.[7]
