Maria Julia Gonsalves Crecencio, known as Maju Gamer or simply Maju (Curitiba, April 16 2013), is a YouTuber, Presenter, Actress, and Model who gained national recognition for her participation in the 2023 edition of the segment Pequenos Gênios on the TV show Domingão com Huck.[1][2][3]

Biography

Maria Julia demonstrated sharp intelligence, expressive creativity, and social sensitivity from an early age. At six years old, she stood out in children's chess tournaments. At ten, she was admitted to the Paraná Military Police Academy, a prestigious educational institution, and became a member of MENSA Brazil. Her official diagnosis of giftedness was issued by the Institute for Learning Optimization (INODAP).[4]

Public Career

In 2023, she gained national prominence by participating in the TV show Pequenos Gênios on TV Globo. During the competition, Maju broke the record for the "Odnartelos" challenge (reverse spelling), going viral on social media. Subsequently, she was honored by the Paraná Legislative Assembly, where she delivered a public speech advocating for education and the recognition of children with high abilities.[5]

Creative Works

In 2024, she published the book The Warrior UJAM, a young adult narrative about courage, learning, and identity, with the title being her name reversed. In 2025, she produced the short film The Girl Who Turned Pain Into Power, a poetic work about representation and overcoming challenges. The film was submitted to over 30 national and international youth film festivals.[6]

LendoComMaju Project

Through her work as an author, reader, and content creator, Maju developed the LendoComMaju project, aimed at encouraging reading and literacy among children. In 2026, she plans to implement an audiovisual literacy methodology in public schools, using videos, reviews, and creative materials she developed.[7]
