Mohammad Basim Al Shoura (born 19 March 2009) is a Jordanian student-athlete and football player. He is considered one of the top young football talents in Jordan.[CITATION]

Early life and career

Al Shoura was born in Madaba, Jordan. He began playing football at the age of six.[CITATION] He developed through the youth ranks of Al-Faisaly SC, representing the club at the under-9 and under-10 levels.[CITATION]

By age 16, he trained with the Etihad Club under-19 squad, competing against players up to three years older.[CITATION] He received an offer to play in Jordan's third division men's league with Lib FC but chose to continue focusing on youth development.[CITATION] He currently plays for Champions Academy.[CITATION]

International recognition

Al Shoura received an invitation for a trial with Arsenal FC but was unable to attend due to passport restrictions.[CITATION] He was also scouted and invited by MLS Next teams in the United States, a youth development system linked to Major League Soccer.[CITATION]

Awards and honors

In 2024, Al Shoura was awarded the MSN Golden Medal after a standout performance in front of scouts from Paris Saint-Germain and Celtic FC. Despite playing with a leg injury, he scored a last-minute goal and impressed with his technical and mental performance.[CITATION]
