The Realme C11 is an entry-level smartphone developed by Realme, officially released in July 2020. It features a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with up to 3GB RAM. The device offers a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP selfie camera. Running on Android 10 with Realme UI, the C11 targets budget users looking for reliable performance and long battery life.[1][2][3]
It is a low-cost smartphone, costing under €100.[4] Its processor was designed for the niche of affordable gaming smartphones.[4] It has a long battery life for its size (5000 mA hours), beating the Google Pixel 5 (2020), but it charges very slowly (at a rate of 10 W).[4] Smaller features include the ability to control the smartphone when the display is turned off by making gestures on the screen surface.[4] The smartphone was criticized by reviewers for its low performance, although poor performance is common in the price range, and its poor sound quality.[4]
The India Times praised the design of the phone for its price range; it has a polycarbonate body with 450 curves arranged 0.1 mm apart on the back to prevent fingerprint marks; it lacks a fingerprint sensor.[5] The India Times also praised the display, but noted that due to the low processing power it is impossible to play games like PUBG on the phone without it "lagging massively".[5]
If a microSD card is inserted in the dedicated slot, 256 GB of extra memory can be added.[6]
