Comment: Too many issues with the sources. YouTube and LinkedIn are unreliable sources. Amazon links and articles quoting random excerpts from his books don't really do anything for notability. Many of the sources I spot checked simply give passing mentions to Reames and then move onto another topic. Many primary (possibly self-published) sources as well. Robert Reames (born September 27, 1959) is an American fitness expert, certified nutritionist, actor, author, and wellness coach. He is best known for serving as the head trainer and nutritionist on the Dr. Phil Show, where he appeared in over 90 episodes across 20 seasons.[1][2]. Reames is the co-owner of Revive & Sustain Wellness, Inc. and serves on the advisory board of the nonprofit Kids First Alliance. He is the author of Make Over Your Metabolism and co-author of Anti‑Diet: The Paradigm Has Shifted.
Early life and education
[edit]Reames was born in Elkhart, Indiana. He struggled with weight during childhood, which later motivated his pursuit of health and fitness. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and moved to Los Angeles to begin a career in personal training and nutrition.

[edit]In 1987, Reames appeared as one of the **Singing Freshmen** in the NBC sitcom Roomies, which starred Burt Young and Corey Haim. He appeared in all eight episodes of the series.

[edit]In 2006, Reames authored Make Over Your Metabolism: 4 Weeks to a Faster Metabolism and a Fitter, Firmer You (ISBN 978-0743274387), a four-week lifestyle program focusing on improving metabolism and overall fitness[14].
In 2025, Reames co-authored Anti‑Diet: The Paradigm Has Shifted with his business partner and program co-creator, S.C. Watson (ISBN 979-8286193035).
