Comment: Routine business reporting, product reviews and primary sources do not establish notability per WP:NCORP.This is basically a company presentation, but that's not what we want. We want instead a summary of significant coverage published by multiple secondary sources that are reliable and entirely independent of the subject. DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:27, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Still highly promotional in tone. Needs fixing for Wikipedia:External links policy as well. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 12:45, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
Comment: Highly promotional in tone. Sources do not show are not independant and are not reliable. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 13:34, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Sensio AS is a Norwegian company that develops care technology and digital health systems. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Oslo, the company operates across several European countries. Its technologies are used in institutional and in home care settings for coordination, monitoring, and service management.[1]
History
[edit]Sensio was established in Oslo in 2009. Its geographic footprint has expanded to include Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Iceland. As of 2024, the company reported that its services supported approximately 70,000 care recipients.[2]
In July 2024, private equity firm Nordic Capital acquired a majority stake in Sensio. The previous majority owner, Longship, retained a minority share. [3] The acquisition was viewed in the context of a broader market trend toward digitalisation in healthcare, particularly in services for the elderly.
Products and services
[edit]Sensio develops a range of digital care technology platforms, used primarily by municipalities and care providers:
- Sensio 365: A digital healthcare platform integrating alarm systems, monitoring devices, and communication tools.
- Sensio Insight: A data analytics tool designed to assist care organisations with service planning and operations management.[6]
- IKOS: A digital coordination platform used for task and resource management in both home-based and institutional care.[7]
- SensioCare: A nurse call and communication system for hospitals and care facilities, with optional door access control and safety configurations.
In 2024, Sensio Insight received the EHiN Award, recognising its application in improving healthcare sustainability.[6]
In 2025, UK-based care provider Lovett Care announced it would implement Sensio’s RoomMate and nurse call technologies in its facilities following a pilot study.[8]
Certifications
[edit]The company’s RoomMate, Sensio 365, Sensio Pocket, and IKOS systems have received the Made in Norway certification from Innovation Norway.[9]
Sensio is certified under ISO/IEC 27001, which specifies standards for information security management.
Operations
[edit]As of 2025, Sensio employs more than 200 people and maintains offices in Oslo and Sandefjord (Norway), Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö (Sweden), as well as locations in the United Kingdom and Denmark.
Management
[edit]Torbjørn Aamodt serves as the chief executive officer.[10]
