S&N by Shantnu & Nikhil

[edit]

In 2020, Shantnu and Nikhil Mehra introduced S&N by Shantnu & Nikhil, a ready-to-wear label developed to present elements of their couture design style in a more accessible format. Initially perceived as a diffusion line of their primary couture brand, Shantnu & Nikhil, S&N has since established an independent presence in the Indian fashion industry. The brand's design language includes Indian-inspired drapery, structured silhouettes, and emblematic motifs, which the designers describe as "prestige prêt."[4]

Shantanu Mehra holds a business background, while Nikhil Mehra is trained in fashion design. Together, they bring a combination of commercial and creative approaches to the brand's development.

Five-Year Anniversary and Runway Show

[edit]

In 2025, S&N by Shantnu & Nikhil marked its five-year anniversary with a runway show at Lakmé Fashion Week. The collection, titled Piazza Nova, featured a blend of structured tailoring, Indian-inspired drapes, military influences, and crest motifs. The event featured Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of actor Saif Ali Khan, who made his runway debut as the show’s showstopper. He wore a soft pink bandhgala, styled with a white shirt and tie, reflecting the themes of the collection.[5][6]
