Transcenda (Transcenda, Inc.) is a global provider of software engineering and design services, specializing in custom software development, mobile development, UX/UI design, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, DevOps, software quality assurance, data science, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The company supports clients in healthtech, edtech, fintech, smart home, and automotive, as well as logistics, supply chain, and real estate.

As of 2025, Transcenda has a global team of over 200 contributors, across its core locations in the United States, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Colombia, and Brazil.

History

Transcenda was founded in 2019 by Megan Fales (CEO and Co-Founder) and Alexey Koval (CTO and Co-Founder). The company's headquarters are located in Detroit, US, and the first delivery office was established in Kyiv, Ukraine. Transcenda built a strong regional presence with offices opening in Poland and Romania (2022), Colombia (2023), and Brazil (2025).

At the beginning of 2025, Transcenda’s near-term greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).[1] Later the same year, Transcenda was recognized on the list of 'America's Greatest Startup Workplaces' by Newsweek.[2]
