Summary

Description
English: Mobile Offshore Base that is 400' x 6,500' that can handle all US Military aircraft. The catamarans are ballast-controlled semi-submersible so the MOB can sink down a little for stability when idle and float higher when moving so the vertical pillars are out of the water. Can slightly incline the runway, 1 degree uphill for landing and 1 degree downhill for takeoff. During landing planes can have a flatter lower angle of approach for slower and softer landings, and for takeoff there is no need to pull up too fast for FAA safety reasons, planes can takeoff and coast flat off the end of the runway. Two nuclear marine propulsion units at the back of the catamarans.
