Edwin Munoz (born Edwin Ulisses Munoz Barajas Lieberman), was born on June15, 1990, in Newport Beach, CA to Mario Arturo Munoz and Maria Barajas Lieberman. He currently attends Segerstrom Fundamental High School in Orange County, CA. After High School, he is said to plan to pursue a career in fashion merchandising. Munoz' parents are divorced and he lives in Orange County as well as La Jolla (San Diego). He is openly bisexual. Munoz is known for his random persona and is "notorious" for random bouts of swearing.

Background
Munoz is of mixed racial and ethnic background. His parents were both born in Mexico, but both are from very different cultural backgrounds. Munoz' maternal grandmother came from a family of Jewish immigrants from Germany who immigrated to Argentina (Buenos Aires) and Mexico (Mexico City) in the 1930's before WWII, since they were refused entry into the United States. His maternal grandfather was of mixed Spaniard and Amerindian (Mexican) descent. Munoz' paternal grandmother was of Argentine-Spaniard descent, who emigrated to Mexico in hope of becoming an actress, which never pulled through. Munoz' paternal grandfather is a virtual unknown, but is known to be of Afro-Mexican descent. Munoz said of his heritage that he was a "mix of everything", but when asked he just says he is Hispanic.
