  • curprev 18:1918:19, 17 December 2024 Werdna Yrneh Yarg talk contribs 41,225 bytes +53 Opposite the base of Almshouse Hill and through the arched complex entrance, the previous wall beside the Cober had 18 inch diameter mooring rings that my next door neighbour used to jump on when fishing there. These were used for freight between Helston and Lowertown, but not to the sea. The evidences for the port had nothing to do with Defoe, however. The harbour rings that most indigenous people in St. Johns are aware of are much older and possibly buried in silt before 1834. undo
