Kadaif, kadayif, kataifi, kadaifi, katayef or kataïf (Arabic: قطايف) is a type of shredded filo strands, used in the cooking of many Middle Eastern pastries and desserts, including the Arabic knafeh and Turkey's tel kadayıf.[1][2]
